A sneak peak at the Shopify Store I crafted for Glidelab, a niche skateboard brand starting out in Spain. Designed in Figma, and developed in Shopify, with a focus on minimalist design, great motion and animation, and a cool colour palette. Full breakdown below ↓

My Goal:
To help Glidelab to launch their first online presence and store. Ensuring that the Shopify store matched their brand and style, as well as provided them the ability to reach a wider audience with their skate products.
Scope:
Web design • Motion graphics • Ecommerce Development
My Approach:
Discovery Call:
We started with a quick workshop and discussion to nail tone, audience & goals for the brand and the store. To make sure that I was able to see their vision, and get an idea of their scope.
Design:
Following the discovery call, I started low-fi wireframes and designs in Figma. Building up a visual style built around minimalism, a darker, limited colour palette. This was then sent to the client and tweaked following feedback, ready for the full development.
Motion:
Before starting the final build in Shopify, I jumped over to Lottielab and sketched out some motion graphics and animations. These would act as prototypes for the initial build and focused on delivering image and video content in an interesting way for the user.
Build:
Final development took place in Shopify, with the build taking place over a few days, the design was implemented into a custom Shopify theme of my own making, All products where added, with customised CSS and code for the unique product pages. Additional custom code was added to handle the final lottie motion graphics.
Skills & Tools Used:
Design: Figma and Pen & Paper
Motion / Animation: Lottielabs
Build / Delivery: Shopify
